Good to know before booking
• Book 6 to 12 weeks ahead for the best prices. Peak periods: summer, school holidays, Eid.
• Standard cabin bag (55×40×20 cm) and 1 checked bag of 23 kg are usually included on major carriers (Air Algérie, Air France, Transavia).
• Valid passport required, with at least 6 months remaining validity on the date you enter Algeria.
• EU/Swiss/Canadian nationals: short-stay visa required for Algeria, to be obtained at the embassy before departure (allow 2 to 3 weeks). Algerians of French origin may use their Algerian passport.
